Dance in the Mediterranean: challenges and opportunities.

In this series of round tables we will analyze the situation of dance and movement in the actual circumstances after the pandemic. We will explore new tendencies in the way of exposing dance to the public, investigate about the position of women in the field of movement, and discuss possible opportunities in online performances.

Fading identities, globalization in the esthetics of dance/ movement

We initiate an analysis about the influence of cultural heritage and social environment on the way that choreographers design their performances in times of immediacy, social networks, and cultural globalization.

We will also speak about the way that the public consumes choreographic works nowadays.
